CHEF JAMIE OLIVER PROVES MCDONALD’S BURGERS “UNFIT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION”

The famous chef Jamie Oliver has shown how McDonald’s make their hamburgers, so now the popular company announced that it is changing its recipe. However, the media did not write about this.
Jamie told the public more than once in documentaries, TV shows and interviews that the beef fatty parts are “washed” in ammonium hydroxide and used in the burger filling. This food is not good for human consumption before the process of washing. Jamie Oliver also adds that this product can be sold as the cheapest food for dogs, and humans can buy and eat it after the “washing” process in ammonium hydroxide.

This ammonium hydroxide is dangerous to humans because of the meat’s poor quality. Oliver refers to it as “the pink slime process”. He says people should think twice before buying that food and that there is no reasonable reason to give that to your children.

Oliver also demonstrated how the chicken nuggets are made: the best parts of the chicken are selected, and then the remains (internal organs, skin, and fat) are processed.

The franchise manager for McDonalds in Latin America says this procedure is not used in their region. Moreover, this process is also not used in Ireland and the UK because the meat is received from local suppliers.

Burger King and Taco Bell in the USA have abandoned the ammonia usage in their products. Ammonium hydroxide is used by the food industry as an anti-microbial agent in meats, letting McDonalds use meat that is inedible. It is regarded as a part of a production procedure by the USDA and customers may not be aware it is in their food.

McDonalds say their meat is inexpensive because of the great deal of servings and the lower price of their suppliers. Also, the company wrote on their site that they have stopped using the beef filler in the burger patties.
