Indianapolis Colts made it clear on former NC State star in bold trade scenario
NC State has sent some major talent to the NFL over the years.
One of the best currently playing in the league is linebacker Germaine Pratt.
Pratt has been a huge part of the Cincinnati Bengals’ defense over the last six years. However, he could end up finding himself with a new team this offseason.
Back on February 12, it was reported that Pratt had requested to be traded by the Bengals. While the team does not “have” to trade him, many believe that a move could be coming.
All of that being said, a new potential trade destination has been suggested.
Gary Davenport of Bleacher Report has suggested that the Indianapolis Colts could make sense as a trade suitor for Pratt. Davenport even came up with a potential trade that could work for both sides.

If the Colts could land Pratt for that price, they would be foolish to not jump at the opportunity. The 28-year-old linebacker would be a big addition for the Indianapolis defense.
During the 2024 season in Cincinnati, Pratt played in 17 games. He racked up a career-high 143 tackles, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, two interceptions, and six defended passes.
Those numbers clearly show the kind of impact that the former Wolfpack standout can bring to the field. For a team like the Colts who need help defensively, he could turn out to be a major star addition.
Expect to hear a lot of rumors this offseason. A lot of player movement is expected across the NFL and Pratt seems likely to be one of the moves.
