The Indianapolis Colts needed a tight end, and they got Tyler Warren without having to make any sort of a trade to move up.Chicago took Colston Loveland – who’s going to be fantastic with a little bit of time – but Warren has the skill set to be a whole other level of special. He’s a top five talent, and the Colts got him at a bargain-basement price of the 13th overall pick.Beyond that, this draft is fine.You want as many JT Tuimolaus as you can get for your defensive front, and the Colts got the one available to them. Kansas State running back DJ Giddens will be a blast of a playmaker for the coaching staff to work with, and very, very quietly, the sixth round selection Notre Dame quarterback Riley Leonard might be turn out to be a much bigger deal over the next year or so than it seemed to be on Saturday. There are some reaches – like Minnesota corner Justin Walley and Iowa State offensive tackle Jalen Travis – but they’re not too bad.
