Son of Pittsburgh Steelers legend signs with New York Jets

At his pro day, Clark measured in at 5-foot-9, 184 pounds, while running a 4.66 40-yard dash. With plenty of experience on special teams, his path to the roster includes both slot cornerback and special teams work.

Clark played five years at Arizona State before transferring to Notre Dame in his sixth collegiate season. Playing in 16 games for the Fighting Irish, Clark had one interception, five passes defended, and 37 tackles. Over his collegiate career, Clark had four interceptions and 22 passes defended

Clark will work under new Jets head coach Aaron Glenn. He plays at safety, but Clark will likely compete for the team in the nickel cornerback position. In addition to Clark, the Jets have incumbent starters Michael Carter II and Isaiah Oliver on the team with whom he will compete during the summer.

Jordan Clark, a safety prospect out of Notre Dame, came into the draft process with a chance of being picked on late day three. When that did not happen, he quickly signed a deal with the Jets, where he will hope to make their final roster
