The Pittsburgh Steelers have expressed newfound interest in Notre Dame cornerback Benjamin Morrison. Morrison managed a hip injury and participated in drills in Arizona earlier this week.
He did not participate in the 40-yard dash. In workout videos, Morrison is observed receiving instructions from Steelers defensive coordinator Teryl Austin. Alex Kozora from Steelers Depot was the first to observe it.
Considering Austin’s attendance at Notre Dame’s Pro Day, it is significant that he is being sent to Arizona to observe Morrison. Morrison attended South Bend’s pro day but did not take part; consequently, the Steelers might still have engaged with him during that event.
