BREAKING: Texas Longhorns QB Arch Manning Signs a Massive NIL Deal with the Carolina Panthers

In a move that stunned both college and professional football worlds, Texas Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning inked a groundbreaking NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) deal with the Carolina Panthers early this morning.

The deal, reportedly worth over $10 million, marks the first time an NFL team has entered into a direct NIL partnership with a college athlete—a bold and unprecedented strategy aimed at building future relationships and branding power long before the draft.

Manning, the highly touted heir to the football dynasty of Archie, Peyton, and Eli, remains firmly committed to the Longhorns for now, but sources close to the family suggest this deal might hint at his eventual NFL landing spot.

“It’s a business move, not a football move… yet,” Arch said with a grin during the press conference held at a packed Austin sports complex. “I’m still all-in with Texas, but this opportunity allows me to expand my brand, support my teammates through shared NIL opportunities, and build a bridge to what may come next.”

The Panthers, who’ve struggled to find stability at quarterback in recent years, remain tight-lipped about any long-term plans. However, their marketing department is already rolling out Manning-branded merchandise and digital campaigns, signaling an aggressive play toward the future

The NCAA and NFL are expected to release statements soon regarding the legality and implications of the partnership—but one thing is clear: the NIL era has just entered a new dimension. And Arch Manning is the face of it..
