The first-ever guest to participate on his colleagues’ show Cleats and Convos with Deebo Samuel, which launches on Tuesday, is wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk of the San Francisco 49ers.
During the offseason, Aiyuk’s contract negotiations with San Francisco were one of the most followed narratives.
The Arizona State prospect ultimately agreed to a four-year, $120 million contract with the 49ers. When Aiyuk makes an appearance on the show, viewers will probably get additional information about the continuing story.
Aiyuk hasn’t been a major playmaker in the season’s opening two games. The receiver might still be getting used to the offense because he missed all of training camp.
Weekly episodes of the Bleacher Report podcast will be released during the 2024 NFL season.
Every Tuesday, new episodes will be released. With Samuel and co-host Liv Moods, prominent wide receivers and exceptional athletes from around the NFL will talk about football and their life off the field.
“I can’t wait to give fans a true glimpse into the lives of their favorite wide receivers and the real conversations we share with each other about football and life,” Samuel told the publication.
“B/R is the perfect platform to host the show, and I’m excited to join their team of athletes doing new things in the social space.”
Samuel won’t be playing football anytime soon, despite his new podcast being a big hit outside of it.
He plays for the 49ers. Samuel is anticipated to miss many weeks due to a strain in his calf. Christian McCaffrey, a talented running back for San Francisco, also had a calf issue before the season.
McCaffrey will miss at least four games after being placed on injured reserve.
Whether Samuel will also be placed on injured reserve has not been made public. Through the first two weeks of the season, Samuel was the 49ers’ leading receiver.
Samuel gained 164 yards from 13 receptions, 13 yards from 10 rushes, and a touchdown on a rush. For the 49ers, he has always been a dependable weapon.
According to the most recent information, San Francisco will be without two of its greatest players for a few weeks at least.
The club will rely on Aiyuk and George Kittle to provide big plays in Samuel’s absence.
The 49ers will rely on Jordan Mason to be their main ball carrier in the run game.
