49ers Re-Sign RB Patrick Taylor Jr. to One-Year Deal

The San Francisco 49ers today announced they have re-signed RB Patrick Taylor Jr. to a one-year deal.

 

Taylor Jr. (6-2, 217) originally entered the NFL after signing with the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent on April 29, 2020. Throughout his four-year NFL career with the Packers (2020-23) and 49ers (2024) he has appeared in 47 games (one start) and registered 104 carries for 444 yards (4.3 average) and two touchdowns on the ground to go along with 17 receptions for 94 yards through the air. He has also appeared in three postseason contests and registered three carries for six yards (2.0 average).

 

In 2024, Taylor appeared in 13 games (one start) and tallied 39 carries for 183 yards (4.7 average) to go along with three receptions for 25 yards.

 

A 26-year-old native of Humble, TX, Taylor attended the University of Memphis (2014-16) where he appeared in 45 games (four starts) and registered 536 rushes for 2,884 yards (5.4 average) and 36 touchdowns as well as tallying 55 receptions for 434 yards and three touchdowns. He finished his collegiate career with 3,322 yards from scrimmage and 39 touchdowns.
