BREAKING NEWS: Panthers rookie lands another major endorsement deal

Posted on May 17, 2025

The Carolina Panthers’ rising star Tetairoa McMillan continues to build momentum  both on and off the field as he lands yet another major endorsement deal, signaling his growing stature in the NFL and beyond. After making waves during rookie minicamp with his impressive blend of size, route-running precision, and sure hands, McMillan is now attracting the attention of major brands eager to attach themselves to his fast-rising profile.

This week, McMillan finalized a deal with Beats by Dre, joining a select group of elite athletes who represent the iconic audio brand. The endorsement, which includes custom gear, digital campaigns, and appearances, is his second major off-field agreement following a recent apparel partnership with Nike. For a rookie wide receiver, it’s rare to command this level of early commercial attention — but McMillan is not your average rookie.

Drafted in the second round by Carolina after a standout career at the University of Arizona, McMillan entered the league with high expectations. His 6-foot-5 frame, elite catch radius, and strong work ethic have made him a favorite among Panthers coaches and teammates. While Carolina is undergoing a rebuild around second-year quarterback Bryce Young, McMillan is poised to become a key weapon in the offense, especially in red-zone situations.

Off the field, McMillan has already demonstrated a polished media presence and a commitment to community engagement, factors that make him especially attractive to brands seeking more than just athletic performance. Beats by Dre’s decision to partner with him reflects the brand’s belief in McMillan’s star power and cultural resonance and it may only be the beginning.

As training camp approaches and expectations build in Charlotte, one thing is clear: Tetairoa McMillan is not only preparing to make an impact on the gridiron he’s becoming a marketable face of the Panthers’ future.
