Keegan Bradley will be part of the Presidents Cup team in Montreal, and the Ryder Cup captain has since posted on social media after being informed of the news.
Despite Jim Furyk being urged to leave Bradley off the team, the 54-year-old selected the 38-year-old, along with Brian Harman, Russell Henley, Max Homa, Tony Finau and Sam Burns.
