Hodges emerged as a fan favorite for the Steelers in the 2019 season when he was called into play due to injuries that left the team with the former Samford quarterback.
Following a week at the Grammy’s, Wilson and the couple shared their engagement news on Instagram.
Wilson had been giving subtle clues in recent months for Hodges to propose. Hodges replied on her Instagram last week that he was curious how Wilson ‘would appear in white,’ igniting rumors of a potential engagement.
Hodges joined the Steelers following a minicamp audition in 2019. During that year’s training camp, he gained some repetitions and impressed sufficiently to secure a spot on the practice squad.
In 2019, Hodges recorded a 3-3 record over six starts, passing for 1063 yards with five touchdown throws and eight interceptions. He participated in eight matches for the Steelers. Hodges played for the Steelers during 2019 and 2020 before moving to the Los Angeles Rams in 2021. He hasn’t participated in the NFL since his stint with the Rams.
