The Cubs signed him almost immediately and already put him to work. Whether this move pays off remains to be seen.
Throughout the spring, Chicago has cycled through relievers to patch up the bullpen. Injuries like Porter Hodge’s and struggles from veterans such as Ryan Pressly have made it difficult.
