Good news πŸ€” Rookie Reese claims WNBA double-double record πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡

Rookie Angel Reese set a new WNBA record on Sunday as she registered her 13th consecutive double-double for the Chicago Sky.

Reese, the seventh overall pick in this year’s WNBA draft, equalled Candace Parker’s previous record for the league’s longest double-double streak on Friday.

The 22-year-old then claimed 17 points and 14 rebounds for the Sky on Sunday as they lost 84-71 at the Seattle Storm.

Reese’s record came a day after Caitlin Clark became the first rookie in WNBA history to record a triple-double as the Indiana Fever rallied to win 83-78 at home to the New York Liberty.
