Former Pittsburgh Steelers offensive tackle Kellen Diesch has found a new opportunity in the UFL. The 27-year-old lineman has signed with the Arlington Renegades for the 2025 season, giving him a chance to showcase his abilities and potentially earn another shot in the NFL. With his combination of size and athleticism, a strong performance in the UFL could help him return to the league.
Diesch spent part of the 2024 season with the Tennessee Titans but was unable to secure a futures contract. Since leaving Arizona State, he has had stints with several NFL teams, including the Steelers, Titans, Cleveland Browns, New England Patriots, Chicago Bears, and Miami Dolphins.
Standing at 6-foot-7 and weighing 300 pounds, Diesch impressed scouts with his athletic testing numbers despite going undrafted. He recorded a 4.89-second 40-yard dash and a 1.68-second 10-yard split, showcasing his quickness for his size.
Although he has yet to appear in an NFL game, the two-time All-Pac-12 selection continues to draw interest due to his physical traits and movement skills. If he can put together a strong showing this spring, he may generate attention from teams looking for offensive line depth.
