Jets fans all said the same thing about Aaron Rodgers’ contentious meeting with Aaron Glenn

Aaron Rodgers is not getting much sympathy from fans amid his gripes about how things ended with the New York Jets.

In February, the Jets informed Rodgers that the team was going in a different direction at quarterback. Reports at the time indicated that Rodgers had taken a cross-country flight to New Jersey to meet with the Jets, only to receive the news that he was being released.

On Thursday, Rodgers aired his grievances about the Jets meeting on “The Pat McAfee Show.” Rodgers said the meeting he had expected to last a couple of hours ended in just 15 minutes.

According to Rodgers, Jets coach Aaron Glenn “ran out of the room” shortly after the meeting began and came back with Jets GM Darren Mougey.

“We sit down in the office and I think we’re going to have this long conversation. I’ve flown across the country. And 20 seconds in he goes, I mean literally, I’m talking to the GM about something, and he leans to the end of his seat and goes ‘Are you sure you wanna play football?’”

When Rodgers answered that he was “interested,” Glenn supposedly retorted that the Jets were “going a different direction at quarterback.” The meeting, as described by Rodgers, left the 4-time MVP “shocked.”

Instead of feeling sorry for Rodgers, several Jets fans went on social media to show their support for Glenn. Many even said that Glenn had won them over even more based on how the New York’s new head coach treated Rodgers.
