JUST-INTiger Woods faces temporary suspension from all PGA Tour events after a challenging performance in his latest attempt to

A PGA Tour star, Emilio Gonzalez, showed great determination at the World Wide Technology Championship at El Cardonal Golf Course in Mexico, despite facing challenges. Gonzalez started with a 73 in the opening round on the course, which was partly designed by Tiger Woods, and then improved with a two-under 71 in the second round.

Although he missed the cut by two shots, Gonzalez’s effort was commendable, especially since he was competing under a sponsorship exemption in an event with a significant $7.2m total purse.

Unfortunately, his journey took an unexpected turn when he was disqualified on Friday night, shortly after being eliminated, due to a rules breach involving a provisional shot on the 15th hole. The PGA Tour’s decision was based on Rule 18.3, which Gonzalez inadvertently violated.

Despite this setback, Gonzalez had previously expressed confidence in his progress, stating his focus on continuous improvement and trust in his process. His positive attitude and commitment to his game are truly admirable.
