The Kansas City Chiefs strengthened their pass rush on Tuesday by signing veteran defensive end Janarius Robinson.
Robinson, a fourth-round pick by the Minnesota Vikings in 2021, played 10 games (with one start) for the Las Vegas Raiders last season. He logged 109 defensive snaps in 2024, recording five pressures, two quarterback hits, and a half-sack.
Injuries earlier in his career limited Robinson’s playing time, but he made his regular-season debut in 2023, contributing two quarterback hits and a sack in six games (with two starts) for the Raiders.
Before entering the NFL, the 6-foot-5, 263-pound Robinson was a three-year starter at Florida State. Over his collegiate career, he accumulated 20.5 tackles-for-loss, eight sacks, three passes defensed, and two forced fumbles, leading the team in sacks as a senior.
With his 35-inch arms and physical traits, the 25-year-old Robinson now joins the Chiefs, where he will have the chance to showcase his talent.
