A trade could materialise quickly, as the Dolphins will likely want a deal in place before the 2025 NFL Draft.
In his two seasons with Miami, Ramsey has failed to match the success he achieved during his earlier years with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Los Angeles Rams.
Even so, at only 30 years old, the three-time All-Pro still has much to offer interested teams who could afford his $21.1 million salary in 2025 .

Los Angeles Chargers
The Chargers’ cornerbacks surpassed expectations in 2024, led by fifth-round rookie Tarheeb Still, who was thrust into action earlier than expected following a season-ending injury to Asante Samuel.
Still, with playoff aspirations on the line and a division brimming with quarterback talent, the Bolts must make a bold move to acquire a player capable of containing the league’s elite wide receivers.
Derwin James -the jewel in the crown of the Chargers’ secondary- shares history with Ramsey as the two roomed together at Florida State, and that connection would serve the team well as they look to integrate Ramsey into the locker room and defensive scheme.
Their relationship has remained close throughout their time in the NFL.
The Chargers’ secondary may need to cover receivers longer in 2025 because their pass rushers will likely generate less pressure following Joey Bosa’s departure . Adding Ramsey would go a long way toward easing that burden.
Las Vegas Raiders
The Raiders’ defense surrendered the sixth-most passing touchdowns in 2024 (29), and their secondary is in danger of declining even further after the mass exodus of Nate Hobbs , Jack Jones, and Tre’Von Moehrig in free agency.
All three players struggled in coverage last year, and change was needed. Still, the incoming personnel – Eric Stokes, Lonnie Johnson, and Jeremy Chinn – are not renowned for their abilities in pass coverage.
Extending Maxx Crosby was key to ensuring the defense will be able to generate pressure on opposing quarterbacks, and Malcom Koonce could aid in that sense if he can return to his pre-injury, but the pass rush can only achieve so much.
If the Raiders are serious about contending, they must enter the competition to sign Ramsey. They are well-positioned to do so with over $43 million in cap space .
Tennessee Titans
In any other scenario, Ramsey would surely not want to join a rebuilding team, but as a Tennessee native, he may be willing to make an exception to play in his home state.
The opportunity to help the team reverse their fortunes may soften the blow of playing for a team not likely to be a contender.
Pairing Ramsey with L’Jarius Sneed who appears to be on track to return from the injury which prematurely ended his 2024 campaign , would significantly improve the Titans’ cornerback group.
Like all three teams on this list, Tennessee has ample cap room to join the bidding war for Ramsey’s services.
