SHOCKING REPORT😳😳: Jon Wilkin fumes with ‘diving’ vindicated as Sam Lisone avoids punishment for controversial elbowing…….

Sam Lisone looks set to receive a ban after being placed on report after a nasty-looking challenge – but it WASN’T picked up by the match officials in an incident that has stunned supporters.

The Leeds Rhinos prop was involved in one of the game’s biggest talking points as he appeared to lead with his elbow as he carried a ball, one that saw Huddersfield halfback Olly Russell cop the brunt of the challenge square in the face.

However, the incident was missed by the officials at the time, and to make matters worse, the Rhinos would break and score just a few plays later in what was a crucial moment just before half-time as they established a two-score lead at the break.

The incident was subsequently put on report after replays were shown in the stadium, with Huddersfield Giants supporters furious that the incident had not been caught at the time. Sky Sports commentator Kyle Amor said he felt Lisone should have been sent off following the carry.

Meanwhile, Jon Wilkin was left angry with the call, claiming that the incident justified players staying down to try and get a decision go in their favour.
