Should the Chiefs draft Missouri’s Luther Burden III?
That’s one of the biggest questions facing Kansas City heading into Thursday’s NFL Draft.
Depending on who you ask, Luther is either the third, fourth, or fifth-best receiver in this draft class. However, none of that matters in the end because playing with Patrick Mahomes will immediately raise your floor as an NFL receiver.
If he falls to #31, Burden will have the chance to play alongside all-time great Travis Kelce, second-year wideout Xavier Worthy, and veteran Hollywood Brown.
With a total of eight selections to make during the three-day event, Chiefs general manager Brett Veach is uniquely positioned to set Kansas City up for future success. And grabbing Burden is the the first step to continuing their dominance in the AFC.
