Stats and Facts: A Breakdown by the Numbers of the 49ers Undrafted Rookie Free Agents..

Roster-building efforts for NFL franchises extend far beyond the league’s annual draft weekend. Free agency signings, trades, and claiming players off waivers or practice squads are other ways that clubs can continue to round out their rosters throughout the year.

 

Shortly after selecting an 11-player draft class at the end of April, the San Francisco 49ers announced they agreed to terms with six undrafted rookie free agents, adding three more players to both the offensive and defensive units. These first-year players will have the same opportunity as their drafted counterparts to compete for a spot on the 49ers 2025 53-man roster.

 

Let’s take a look at some of the most impressive stats from this year’s group of undrafted free agent rookies’ college careers and/or the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine:

 

RB Corey Kiner, Cincinnati

 

Kiner became the fifth Bearcat with back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons after rushing for 1,047 yards and five touchdowns on 192 carries in 2023 and 1,153 yards and four touchdowns on 204 carries in 2024.

According to Pro Football Focus, Kiner’s 80 missed tackles forced ranked second in the Power 4 and fourth in the FBS

WR Isaiah Neyor, Nebraska

 

Neyor led the Cornhuskers with five receiving touchdowns and ranked second on the team with 455 receiving yards on 34 receptions.

He recorded a 4.40 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine and boasts a 82 5/8 inch wingspan.

OL Drew Moss, Colorado State

 

Moss a key piece of the Rams offensive line that ranked No. 4 in the FBS in fewest sacks allowed (10).

He was a part of the offensive line that helped running back Avery Morrow reach 1,000 rushing yards, the first 1,000-yard Rams rusher since the 2017 season.

CB Jakob Robinson, BYU

 

Robinson is ranked second in career interceptions at BYU since 2000 with 11 in his four seasons.

The cornerback recorded a 4.39 40-yard dash at Big 12 Pro Day.

LB Stone Blanton, Mississippi State

 

Blanton started every game for Mississippi State in 2024 and recorded a career-best 125 tackles, marking his first-career 100-plus tackle season.

He tied for second in the SEC in total tackles and tied for ninth amongst all FBS players.

DL Sebastian Valdez, Washington

 

Valdez played just one season with the Huskies and started all 13 games. He finished fourth on the team in tackles with 48 on the season.

He racked up 12.0 sacks for a loss of 72 yards in his three seasons at Montana State.
