Top DT Prospect Visited With Jets On Thursday

As the draft approaches, the connection between Harmon and the Jets has gained momentum, positioning him as a serious candidate for their defense.
Harmon has rapidly climbed draft boards to become one of the most coveted defensive tackle prospects in this year’s class.
His journey included three seasons at Michigan State before transferring to Oregon.
Last season, Harmon had 45 combined tackles, 11 tackles for loss, five sacks, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.
What makes Harmon particularly valuable is his versatility. He shows remarkable adaptability, effectively playing as either a 3-technique lineman or nose tackle depending on the scheme.
His disruptive presence in the backfield was unmatched last season, as he led all college interior linemen with 55 quarterback pressures.
The Jets aren’t alone in their interest. Harmon also met with the Browns and Steelers recently, suggesting multiple teams are evaluating his potential fit in their defensive systems.
