The San Francisco 49ers endured a difficult 2024 season, finishing with a disappointing 6-11 record and falling short of the playoffs.
Trent Williams, like many of his teammates, wasn’t satisfied with how things ended. This offseason, the veteran offensive tackle has already made a notable change—he’s attending voluntary workouts, something he hasn’t typically done in recent years.
“Trent Williams, who usually trains in Texas during the offseason, reported to Santa Clara last week for the start of Phase 1,” Branch reported.
Williams’ decision to be present signals strong leadership and commitment, qualities that could help spark a turnaround for the 49ers in 2025.
